Types of Eyeliners for Beginners 

Pencil:
This type of eyeliner is just like a pencil except the center is eyeliner instead of lead. Pencil eyeliners tend to give a softer look.

This type of eyeliner is like a pencil eyeliner but instead being enclosed in wood its held in plastic and u twist it up like the crayola crayons. The crayon eyeliner is very similar to the pencil in that both of them tend to give a softer look.

Liquid:
This type of eyeliner creates a bolder look with a sharper line and may dry to a matte or shiny finish. Some liquid eyeliners also tend to crack and flake after a few hours and fade throughout the day.

Gel:
