Clarisonic Mia 2 (First Impressions)

Lunar New Year was just around the corner and being chinese.. I got red envelopes from relatives and I decided to get the clarisonic mia2 with Cynthia at Ulta. Honestly, i was reluctant to get it because i thought i didn't really need it and based on the past experiences of others they said there was a "skin purging" period, I got extremely scared being that the condition of skin is already bad enough. BUT i got it anyways nevertheless.

What is the clarisonic?
Clarisonic is the company of the infamous cleansing system that's always praised about by beauty gurus, celebrities, and dermatologists. It is basically a water-proof cleansing machine that perfectly fits in your hand and it has a brush head that spins to cleanse and exfoliate skin. So okay a brush that spins.. Whats so awesome about that? Well the clarisonic uses sonic technology so the brush doesn't just spin but it also PULSES against your skin at 300 movements per second. The clarisonic is can be used daily for cleansing and exfoliating all in one =D.The clarisonic has 6 different brushes and it also comes in a travel size which is called the clarisonic mia. There is the clarisonic mia (older version) and the mia2 (newer version). The clarisonic mia comes in 4 different colors but the mia2 only has 2 colors for now... the pink and the classic white. The reason I got the mia2 was because the mia2 has two speeds and it also has a 1-minute timer that beeps to tell you to move on to another section of your face which I have to admit is awesome... and its better than counting yourself.

First Impressions:
- awesome variety of brushes (targeted to your skin types)
- specific step-by-step instructions for the 1st use
- convenient travel case
- easy to remove and wash brush
- light-weight and nice size
- sensitive brush was abrasive in my opinion (my skin is semi-sensitive)
- doesn't run on batteries
- WATERPROOOOF

This isn't exactly a review on the clarisonic mia 2 because I've only used it three times so far... so I will be updating every week if not every two weeks. Cynthia will also be writing about her first impressions as well <-- coming soon
